  2. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to transfer services. All of our services were supposed to transfer to the new house this last Friday, but only water and electric did so.

    Cox was able to help me this morning, but failed to acknowledge my previous request. Although they were nice on the phone, they just want to chit-chat to try to up-sell me on services. All I wanted was to be able to use my previous service. If I wanted phone and television, I would have called and requested such. Granted, I do sales for a living, but come on, just process my request. 

    Kansas Gas has been the worst though. Between having to wait 30 minutes on hold, unfriendly phone service, and not giving me any time frame of when they will be at the house, they have been the biggest pain to deal with overall. 

    My overall issue with it all is that all of these service providers have online forms that are supposed to make transferring services easier. If that is the case, why am I continuing to have to put more time into get this taken care of?

    On a happier note, we are about halfway unpacked after the move from hell. And from my conversations today, it sounds like we will finally have internet at home, as well as be able to take a hot shower after tomorrow.

Following
